The Lisbon Transfer & Recycling Center handles solid waste and provides recycling service for the residents of Lisbon.  It is mandatory in the Town of Lisbon to recycle all your waste into designated categories. There is fee for the permit. $10.00 for the first vehicle and $5.00 for the second vehicle. Must have proof of 1st vehicle registration. Permits can be purchased at the Transfer Station Office, Public Works Office or the Town Office.

Changes in Recycling
What changes you ask. Instead of separating recyclables by type, simply combine all glass, tin, aluminum, and plastics #1-#7. This is what is called single stream recycling. Stop by and see the changes we have made and ask questions.

 PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING WHEN ARRIVING AT THE CENTER:

No bare feet anywhere
Please be patient
Please separate your items into proper categories before coming to the Center
If you would like to socialize, please do so in an out-of-the-way area.
