Lisbon Library Summer Reading Program
Last years summer reading program "The Mystery Garden" was a
huge success. With a record number of books read and child
participants for the second straight year. The program kicked off with
a performance by the The Little Red Wagon Touring Troupe titled "Don't Count
Your Chickens Until They Cry Wolf". Throughout the summer children
read many books and kept track of them and are rewarded prizes. The
grand finale for the program was the long anticipated ribbon cutting of The
Bookworm Bend Garden, a wonderful children's garden located at the rear of
the library which was donated and labored by The Tupper Family.
