Lisbon ECD has a commercial financing program available to support start-up, retention, expansion and attraction projects in the Town of Lisbon. For more information, please review the documents below or call the Town of Lisbon Department of Economic and Community Development at (207) 353-3000 ext. 122.

The Town of Lisbon is an Equal Opportunity Lender

The Federal Equal Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided that the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); and because all or parts of the applicant’s income is derived from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has, in good faith, exercised any rights under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The Federal agency that administers compliance with this law concerning this creditor is the Federal Trade Commission. If a person believes he or she has been denied assistance in violation of this law, they should contact the Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC 20580.

Federally assisted programs are those programs where there is a primary recipient who is authorized or required to provide services, benefits, resources or information to another recipient or beneficiary for the purpose of carrying out a program. The primary recipient is responsible for complying with civil rights laws (Title VI, Section 504, and 7 CFR 15, 15a, and 15b) in the administration of their programs and activities because there is an ultimate beneficiary that receives the benefit of the Federal financial assistance (i.e., tenant, water user, hospital patient).
