January StoryTime Adventure 
with Lisbon Adult & Community Education

Join us at the Lisbon Library on Tuesday, January 23rd from 9:00 - 9:45 AM for a 4 part StoryTime Adventure! 

We will be reading The Ding Dong Bag by Polly Peters.
When two boys go out with a large bag to collect all the noise they can find, you can be sure that they will have an ear-splitting time! From the clank of a stick on railings to the thud of a baseball bat, this vibrant story celebrates the rich diversity of sounds they encounter and collect. 
A hands-on activity is incorporated into our Adventure that helps to provoke imagination, increase comprehension and application of age appropriate education standards, implemented by the Maine Department of Education. Accompanying adults will join in on this StoryTime Adventure, encouraging participation and conversation! 

This is a FREE event for both out-of-town families and town residents. As a bonus, each participating child between the ages of 2-4yrs, leaves with a copy of the month's selected story and some follow-up materials for family involvement!
