Beaver Park Information

Beaver Park, which is located off the Cotton Road in Lisbon, continues to be a family day-use park. Lisbon residents and non-residents enjoy various year-round activities. The opening day of fishing in April draws people near and far to catch fish from the stocked ponds.

The fish limit is two fish per person and State of Maine Fishing Laws are enforced. During the hot summer weather the ponds offer a cool retreat for swimmers. The park does not staff a lifeguard, thus parents are encouraged to supervise their children. An ice-skating area is maintained on the Middle Pond, providing the ice condition is naturally good.

The Park also has two picnic areas, a seven-acre field with two regulation softball diamonds, seven miles of hiking/cross-country ski trails, and a fitness course with exercise stations at three different locations along the one-mile course. The Lisbon Cross-country Team continues to use the park trails for their running course and have two annual meets at the park.

All residents and non-residents are invited to enjoy the natural beauty that abounds in Beaver Park and Summer Street Park. People often forget that their own backyard can often offer the peace and solitude so often lost in today's rushed lifestyles. Beaver Park is located in your own back yard and offers a wealth of natures beauty and solitude.
