Birth Certificate Information
Birth Certificates are available at the Town Clerk's Office. A certified birth certificate with an embossed seal containing the child’s name, birthdate, and place of birth, along with family information can be ordered at anytime by the parent(s) listed on the certificate and/or the child with proper ID. Other(s) would need to also provide lineage or a New born certified genealogy card. Click link below to order online now.
The fee is $15.00 for the first copy and $6.00 for each additional copy purchased at the same time. Out of State checks are not accepted, however we will accept a certified bank check or money order.
Again, all applicants must provide proof of identity, which can be a copy of their Driver's License or State ID. Documents that do not have your name on it will require providing proof of lineage, which can include your birth certificate, court document, military record, hospital record, physician's record, newspaper clipping, etc.
