Nomination Process

Nomination papers and declared candidate paperwork will be available 100 days prior to Election Day.

Nomination papers and declared candidate paperwork must be returned to the Town Clerk's office by 4:30 PM on the 60th day prior to Election Day.   If the 60th day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Maine legal holiday, or a day that the Town Office is closed for business, the filling date shall be the next regular business day.

Declared candidate paperwork should be filed 60 days prior to Election Day.

You must obtain not less than 50 nor more than 75 registered voter signatures from voters who reside in the Town of Lisbon before filing nomination papers at the Town Clerk's Office.
