Security Camera Registration Program

The Lisbon Police Department is offering a security camera registration program.  The purpose of this program is to allow citizens and local companies to help law enforcement, and potentially your own neighbors and friends, solve crimes using your personally owned security cameras.  With the significant increase in the use of personal and commercial security cameras, there is the increased probability that your cameras have captured video of a person or vehicle that has been involved in a crime without even knowing it.  The information that you provide is only shared with law enforcement personnel and will never be released publicly.  If a crime happens to occur in your area, an officer from the Lisbon Police Department may contact you requesting permission to view your camera footage, if any is available.  That is it, no further strings attached.  If you are interested you can download the below form and return it to the police department at a time that is convenient for you.  If you have any questions with regard to this program, you should feel free to contact Chief of Police Ryan McGee at 353-2500, or rmcgee@lisbonme.org.  Thank you.
