Non Resident Registration Policy

Families from area towns can apply for non-resident family library cards from the Lisbon Library Department. This is a one year membership with a fee. This non-resident membership provides all the same library services as the resident patron membership.

1. The adult non-resident follows the same Patron Registration Policy when applying for a library card as the adult Lisbon residents.
2. A fee will be collected at the time of registration.
3. The patron is given a non-resident card which differs from a resident card by color for easy identification.
4. One card is given for use by the entire non-resident family.

Non Resident Lisbon Public School Teachers Policy

Teachers of all Lisbon public schools who are non-residents may check out materials from the Lisbon Library Department on their school’s inter-departmental library card. These books are checked out to the school and a copy of the transaction is sent to the school librarian for school records. The school assumes all responsibility for overdue, lost, or damaged materials.
