Water Main Flushing to Begin 5-2-2022

To all Water Department Customers,

Next week, the Department will begin our Spring water main flushing program. Like last fall, we will start in Lisbon and make our way through Lisbon Falls over the next few months. The Department will update our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LisonWaterDepartmentMaine) daily to keep everyone informed on the streets/areas we will be working. Should you experience dirty water during the flushing process, please do not hesitate to call the office at 353-3020.

Depending on the size of the flushing area, the process could take anywhere between 30 minutes to a full day. In the process, you may experience fluctuations in water pressure and some water discoloration. If you experience discolored water, please call the Water Department and we will be happy to assist you.
