How do I get a library card?

I just moved to town, what do I need to get a library card?

Residents can get a library card for free! Simply bring in official proof of residence (such as an updated driver's license with your Lisbon address, a utility bill, etc.) to apply for a card.

Children 5 years of age and older can apply for their own library card! They will need an accompanying guardian to co-sign the card unless they are 18 years or older. For more information on children using the library, please review our Children's Library Use Policy.

I live out of town, am I able to get a library card?

Families from area towns can apply for non-resident family library cards from the Lisbon Library Department. This is a one year membership with a fee of $60.00. This non-resident membership provides all the same library services as the resident patron membership.

For more information, please read our Non Resident Registration Policy.
